Coaching Staff

Coach Gordon has been involved with lacrosse as a player and coach in Orlando for over 20 years. During his playing years he was a stand out faceoff specialist and midfield player at Timber Creek High School. During his time at TC he helped lead his team to top rankings in the state his Junior and Senior year. After high school, Coach Gordon attended the University of Central Florida and began coaching at the youth level. He helped coach several local powerhouses including the Jokers Lacrosse Club and the Orlando Lax Rats. He helped these teams win several elite tournaments. Many of his former youth players have gone on to play collegiate lacrosse at Notre Dame, Mercer, Jacksonville University, Rollins, Florida Southern, and many others. In 2014, Coach Gordon took over as the head coach at his alma mater and rebranded the Central Florida Lacrosse Club Hawks as the Central Florida Vikings.

Coach Ewald has been involved with lacrosse as a player and coach in Orlando for over 15 years. During his playing years he was a stand out attacker at Timber Creek High School. During his time at TC he helped lead his team to top rankings in the Orlando area. In 2014, Coach Ewald was hired by Coach Gordon and took over as the JV head coach at his alma mater.

Coach Kaden is a New York native, but has traveled around the world coaching and playing lacrosse. He spent time in Germany playing in men's leagues, and currently still plays in men's divisions in Orlando. Coach Kaden has coached at the International Level, College level, and most recently at the High School level. He brings years of experience and success to the defensive side of the field on both an individual and team front.

Coach Kaden is currently a professor at UCF and an assistant coach at Timber Creek High School.

Coach Spencer is a Virginia native, he has called Orlando, FL home for the past 10 years. He played High School Lacrosse and is a US Lacrosse Bronze Certified coach. Coach Spencer has spent several years coaching youth lacrosse in GA and FL. His kids went through the Vikings program.

He also is an assistant coach at Timber Creek High School. He serves as an assistant defensive coordinator.

Ryan McEntee is a dedicated lacrosse coach with long-time roots in the sport and a passion for developing young athletes. Raised on Long Island, a region known for lacrosse tradition, Ryan began playing at an early age, quickly fell in love with the game, and now passes that knowledge and experience onto the next generation. Currently, Ryan serves as the defensive and goalie coach for the Timber Creek High School JV lacrosse team, where he’s known for his disciplined approach and ability to build resilient defensive units. He also coaches with the Central Florida Vikings Lacrosse Club, helping players sharpen their fundamentals and elevate their game in competitive club play. Whether he's mentoring a first-time goalie or refining a team's slide package, Coach McEntee brings intensity, insight, and a genuine love for lacrosse to every practice and game.

Coach Gore joins the Central Florida Vikings staff with 15 years of coaching experience. He has coached all levels of lacrosse from K-12 in Michigan, Tennessee, and now Florida. In 2019 he was named the Assistant Coach of the Year in the state of Tennessee. He won three state championships coaching in Tennessee as well.

Jon Adams, a former lacrosse player at Timber Creek High School, is the lead pastor at Maitland Church where he is passionate about teaching God’s Word and shepherding people toward Christ. He and his wife, Tery-Ann, are raising their two children, Clive and Ellie, and together they love investing in both their family and their community. Jon’s journey from the field to the pulpit reflects his heart for discipline, teamwork, and faith, qualities that continue to shape his ministry and life today.

Coach Jonny Henderson is a retired FDNY Firefighter from the Bronx. He was a founding member of the Lacrosse program at Fordham Preparatory School and was a Varsity starter at Defense in 1989 and 1990. He has three nephews playing with the Vikings and they have reignited his passion for the game. Currently a USA Lacrosse Bronze Certified Coach focused on teaching fundamentals to new players. 

Coach Hinckley joins the Vikings program looking to establish a girls program alongside the boys program. He has several years experience coaching girls teams. Most recently he was the Timber Creek Lacrosse assistant coach, but has been the Girls Head Coach for the past few years.
